Wrap Pant Pattern #12271 - Printed

Product Details

Inspired by traditional wrap pants worn in Thailand, this pattern offers a style that is perfect for hot summer weather! These loose-fitting wrap pants that tie around the waist are available in two lengths: Style A is ankle-length; Style B is knee-length.

This pattern has been specially designed with beginners in mind and will make a great first project! Instructions are easy to read with illustrations of the steps as examples. Sizes are both color coded and have specific dotted-lines for you to easily find where you need to cut, even if you don't have access to a color printer!

This pattern features include:

  • All 5 sizes, X-Small through X-Large: you will be able to choose the size, or sizes, that fit you best
  • Three lengths to choose from: above the knee, below the knee, and ankle length.
  • Two overlays: one with squared corners, and another with rounded corners.
  • While the pattern pieces are labelled "Front" and "Back" for instruction sake, the Skirt can be worn with the tie in the front or the back!

Athene Ergane offers two versions of this pattern: printed and digital. This is the printed version: we mail you a printed copy of the pattern. No need to print pages at your desk and tape them together!

Patterns can be printed on three different types of paper:

20# CAD Paper is the large format printer version of letter-sized printer paper, but a little thicker. Stronger than the Translucent or Tracing Paper options, it can be marked for your customization with no problems. The structured nature of this paper means that it is not a good option for tissue fittings*.

18# Translucent Bond Paper is heavier than the Tracing Paper option, but lighter than 20# CAD Paper option. It is just transparent enough to see an outline of your fabric through, while providing a surface that accepts marks and writing without easily tearing. Like the 20# CAD paper, Translucent Bond is stiff and is not a good option for tissue fittings*.

8# Tracing Paper is the small business version of printing on tissue paper. It's lightweight, transparent, and can still be marked. The best of the papers we offer for tissue fittings*.

*Tissue fittings are a system of testing a patterns sizing to yourself or your model before cutting out your fabric. You cut out the pattern pieces for your garment and pin them together into the basic garment shape, then you are able to try it on and make adjustments.
